Photographer and author Cathy Angell has helped thousands of people shift their paradigms about personal power. Her message is a welcome reminder that we can live more effectively, honestly, and joyfully when we embrace our strengths and remember to do the things that make us feel truly alive. As a photographer, she is best known for portraying women in their power. Her portraits are featured in her award-winning book, My Spirit Flies.

Speaking to businesses, professional organizations, colleges, government and non-profit agencies, Cathy entertains and delights her audiences with her warm and witty presentations, compelling photographs and inspiring stories. As a trained percussionist, Cathy will frequently incorporate drumming into her talks which has ignited rave reviews from participants and meeting planners!

Cathy is the owner of PowerUp! Productions, a motivational speaking company in Bellingham, Washington. In addition to having her own business, Cathy has a long history of working in public service. She currently designs education and technical training programs for the National Estuarine Research Reserve System.

Cathy Angell was raised in the South. She has lived in Western Washington for 20 years and claims that she has adapted quite nicely to the lack of humidity, mosquitoes, and poisonous snakes!
